Hoffmann Germany manufactures cookware with one of the highest quality coating systems on the market. Now in its second generation as an independent company, it adheres to traditional manufacturing processes, 100% Made in Germany. The combined expertise from over 3 million pans produced has resulted in a sustainable cookware range with a recoating concept.
At the beginning of our online sales, we traditionally shipped our cookware with filling materials. We tested various paper padding and bubble bag systems; unfortunately never to our satisfaction. The packing process took too long and the damage rate was unacceptable to us. At that time, logistics was the bottleneck that prevented us from growing faster.
In 2021, we contacted Emba Protec, the manufacturer of membrane and fixation packaging from Bad Oeynhausen. After analysing our material flow and evaluating the packaging process, we were presented with the Emba Tray Tec® horizontal wrapping system as a solution.
Customised trays were quickly and flexibly developed for our products and an initial trial was carried out, which quickly led to a longer-term contract.
The fast and reliable Tray Tec® system enables us to output up to 500 - 800 packs per day. This corresponds to a 60% increase in efficiency.
